"War Torn Children"

Hello models! This week, you will be portraying war torn children, using the black and white images of the children in the above video clip as your inspiration. This photoshoot must be black and white and just a reminder that Photoshop may ONLY be used to adjust brightness etc and not for extra visual effects. For your location, find the dirtiest most run down place you can find. As a war torn child, the emotions you are feeling or the image you are to put across is that of innocence, confusion, fear and sadness. Do not imitate the images in the video clip, just use them as inspiration. Remember also that this photograph should have an impact on the viewer and provoke emotions in us similar to that of children who are trapped in the middle of a war zone.
You have until TUESDAY of next week to complete your photoshoot, and everyone may subit THREE photograps, except Lucy, who can submit 4. Guesses for this Tyra Mail were HILARIOUS, but only one of you guessed correctly, despite not being that specific. And that person is.....

I LOVE this shoot, but is it ok if I do my shoot in the woods? because that's the only thing close to a run down place we have in our town.

Yeh of course, location is totally up to you!

Ah, seriously, there used to be this old run down "haunted" house on the hill above my high school, but they tore it down at the beginning of the year.

I'll have to do this in a contrived location because my town is suburbia at it's best.
I'll probably also have to do it tomorrow because I move on Monday and will probably spend most of that time unpacking. Plus I'm not too familiar with the Waterloo area.
Oh!! I can go into Oshawa! If anyone is familiar with the GM plant situation in Ontario, they know that Oshawa can kind of look war-torn at this moment.

I think I going to do this in my backyard.. because we have this little housey thing by the water in the back thats like kind of creepy... but its like all torn up and stuff. its cool but creepy..

im just gonna cross my fingers there are no racoons in it.

I'll end up doing it by this concrete wall in the alley behind my house.

This week seems to have been a little rough, late photos, spiders, barb wire, lost cameras, no cameras. Can't wait to see how all that has translated into great photos!
