Argh! I'm gonna vent here, so BEWARE, but feel free to vent also. Being afraid of getting the boot slash getting the boot /first/ is taking a toll on all of us I'm sure. Along with that (awaiting pannel) my mind is running on some loop.

I had to chop off my long locks last week for my job making milkshakes and passing out burgers. So I figured, okay I'll just rock this new do because life goes on. Now I'm thinking back to my Vogue cover and all the shoots to (hopefully) come with worrisome feelings. We all know no hair/shorter hair makes the photo rely on one's facial expression a whole bundle more. So I'm questioning .. will I be able to portray any emotion asked of me, embodying any mood or theme thrown my way. But then sometimes I'm totally feeling it. I'm not saying I can or can't do anything because of something as insignificant as dying protein particles expelling from my scalp, but I'm interested to find out how far I can push myself now that I'm not hiding behind a full head of hair.

Anyone else want to get anything off their chest? Any vices, worries, concerns, yunno go ahead and shoot.

Too bad for you that you had to cut your hair for work.I also had to cut my hair for a similar job to yours but i refused so i quit, haha. Now i'm a about to vent a little bit. I think i'm def. at risk for elimination because i tried to give a bit of a ''tough'' expression but i'm scared that the judges are gonna hate it and say that i look moody and pissed instead of like, tough. Damn, I hope i'm not that first person to get the boot.

My hair's fairly short, as well. My dad forced me to buzz every last inch of it off about three months ago after he saw I'd bleached it. It's enough to sort of style, but also pretty short. Like my friend was dying it last week, and she almost refused to touch it because she said it was too short. Also, I got braces a little over a week ago, so I'll need to learn to work those in photos, and I have an extremely limited wardrobe, so I don't know how I'll be able to harness some of the more creative photoshoots.

My hair's actually pretty long now so i'm gonna cut about 2 inches off it next week. Funny coincidence that you're mentioning brace, awkward. I used to have perfectly straight teeth, but then one morning, like 5 in the morning, i woke up to go to the bathroom.
So i get up and go to the bathroom. The next thing i know, one hour later, i'm on the floor and my face is covered in blood.
I get up and look in the mirror and damn, my two front teeth were missing, haha. So then i called my parents and i was rushed to the hospital.
I was strapped down to some sort of plank because they didn't want me to move because they thought i had broke my neck. So when i was strapped down for like two hours, i had swallowed all this blood and i threw up like 8 times, haha. So then they tried to push my teeth back in, but it just would work, so they litterally violently jammed them in there. Turns out, they placed them wrong! The right tooth was in the left's position, and the left's in the right's. After like 6 hours of tests they released me and then of course we immediately went to the dentist. Now i have damn braces. ARGH! My whole lip was basically krusty and also my whole chin, so i had to rest for like three day's cause i could barely move, haha. Damn that must've been long to read.

Way to stick it to the man and walk away from people demanding things from you Blom, and I doubt you'll be the first to go. But who knows?! P.S. how do you pronounce you're real name, if I might ask, it's very intriguing (don't worry I won't use it, just curious).

Erik! Oh my, what does he think's wrong with bleached hair? You look sooo different without it. That's good though 'cause it shows your versatility. I didn't even recognize you when the pics from casting went up (since I had checked out your myspace prior to that). You'll do fine with braces, they're the newest acessories, and as far as your wardrobe goes.. it's not what you wear but how you wear it!

Also, My name's a typical dutch name. I hate it. It's pronounced like, Bow-Duh-Wine (The last one isn't really like wine, but more like a German one, like ein with a W infront of it, haha.

WAHT?!?! Forget the question how do you pronounce your name, the true question here is... what happened?! Did you fall asleep and hit the floor? Did you pass out from some fainting spell condition you haven't told us about? Do tell!

It's interesting we're talking about hair, because I was thinking something similar during my photoshoot.  I had really long hair about a week before the competition started (not to mention it was also dyed a strange shade of brown). I was "asked" by my supervisors to cut my hair shorter because it wasn't professional "sigh". Luckily for me though, I go into this salon every so often as a model, and they color and cut it differently for free.  That keeps things interesting (although I still hear "requests" to cut my hair shorter) lol

O and Blom, hearing your story makes me feel a little bad (me being in the medical field and stuff). I always hear of mistakes, but never heard of misplacing teeth....thats just shameful for the doctor. lol    

I really honestly don't know. I don't have any medical condition at all. The doctors said it could have possibly been because i got up too quick and the blood couldn't stream to my head, so that may be the reason i had a blackiout. I do remember feeling so sick before it happened, like i was gonna barf. In my head i was thinking, Jesus, i've got to eat something. Then my sight kinda just faded to black and that's all i remember. And looking back, it's so weird because the night before i said to my mom, i'm so glad i've never had to be in the hospital. A minute later i said, Man i never want to go to the dentist, i hat that so much. Then the day later it all happens. Now i'm fine though. I've still got to go to the dentist again and then i'll be hearing if i'm gonna get veneers or if i get to keep my own teeth. Of course i hope t9 keep the real ones, haha.

I just got braces too. They make me look weird.
