I think "Bronx" is suuuuch a blatant rip-off of Victoria Beckham naming her child "Brooklyn." It's just the trashier version.

Why Ashlee Simpson does a lot of things is beyond me. We can't ignore that this girl has been critically lambasted for her music on so many occasions, yet magazines love her because a) she's a dumb-ass but not quite as dumb as Jessica, b) she dresses pretty nicely, and c) she is quite generically pretty, thanks to the magic of surgery. Personally I find her insufferable but I think she realized that the only way to keep her name out there is to just keep doing stupid things in hopes that the rags will pick up on it.

she reminds me of the pretty, preppy girls from high school that thought they were the most popular girls in school, but really everyone made fun of them because they were so annoying and superficial.

And i think she was much prettier before the surgery. Pre-SNL Ashlee was WAY more tolerable.

I found her just as annoying pre-SNL, but that's mainly because I have a problem with anyone who tries to claim they are dark/punk. Also, if you watch episodes of The Ashlee Simpson show, SNL was NOT the first time she lipsynched. Her on-show 'performances' were ripped STRAIGHT from the CD.
I thought her nose gave her character, and made her look spunky and cute. I also miss her dark brown hair/feathery haircut.

I'm pretty sure. But that's the "I am Me" one, right? I believe that title track had those lyrics which made me laugh my bum off because it was riiiight before the nosejob snafu.
