Yeah, I know I should be producing more post-show work. But honestly, the end of this competition came at the best possible time for me; I can't even see how I would have had time to keep taking pictures of myself if the competition were still going. But I'll post some maybe soon.

But the good thing about photography is you don't HAVE to look nice to do it!

When I was up North a few weeks ago (the week of the finale) I took pictures of my friend Kylah and she finally posted them. Here they are!

i would say modeling is your thing, i see what you want out of your photography, but i don't think you actually got it

I'm not taking myself seriously as a photographer here.
But Kylah has a really really good camera and we just wanted to fool around downtown Timmins and see what we could do. And the pictures turned out nice for "just fooling around."
I had fun!! Plus I think Kylah's pretty in 'em.

I actually like them a lot. I love the colors and it looks like a real natural scene. They are very reminiscent of my friends photography, and she does it for a living, so good job. I love the one where she's poking at a poo !

Thanks!! I like that one too, but my favourite one is where she is laughing in the snow.
We didn't intend for her to wear her coat at all... but Timmins is effing cold.

Aww thanks Blom. I was just having fun with Kylah. And I owe a lot of the greatness to a) her amazing camera and b) the incredible beautiful (natural) light we got on that day.
Timmins is great because the snow is so pure and white that all the light reflects off of it. It can look really heavenly at times.
